Divisions:  Boys, Girls, College, Family, Competitive, Recreational,
Women, Masters 40+, Corporate (Coed mandatory must be 19+)

Ramsey Lake has been the site of the Pond Hockey Festival On The Rock since its inception. Located in the heart of Greater Sudbury and surrounded by many local attractions, it becomes a beehive of activity during the weekend’s festivities.

With over 10 natural ice rinks and over 14 team categories during 3 days on the shores of Ramsey Lake in Sudbury, Ontario

a)  A team shall consist of no more than three (3) players on the ice at any one time, plus one goalie, while play is in progress.
b)  Each team shall consist of a maximum of ten (10) players including the goalie.  Exception:
Open Men’s Division shall consist of a maximum of (10) players including the goalie.
c)  The Masters Divisions can be made up of either men or women or any combination thereof.
d)  The Corporate Division must have at least three women listed on the team roster. At least ONE female player must be on the ice at all times.
e)  All players and coaches are expected to behave in the spirit of sportsmanship and good will throughout the tournament.

Over the course of Pond Hockey Festival On The Rock’s history, it has given back to the community that has supported it so whole-heartedly.  Following the conclusion of each festival, three Greater Sudbury not-for-profit organizations receive funds raised by the event.

It’s not all fun and games – Pond Hockey Festival On The Rock raises funds for three community-based organizations each year. For 2013,  monies raised will go to Pennies for Pediatrics, Warmhearts Palliative Care, and Volunteer Sudbury.
